A 2-layer flexible circuit engineered for parts that keep moving: hinge-mounted camera modules, foldable display interconnects, rotating sensor heads, and automotive seat or mirror harnesses. The copper, the coverlay, and the trace routing are all selected for cyclic fatigue rather than for a single fold during assembly.
Most flex boards in circulation are static flex: they bend once during installation and never move again. A dynamic flex is a different build. We use 1oz rolled annealed copper because its grain structure resists fatigue, keep the copper on the neutral axis with symmetrical 0.05mm coverlay on both sides, and route every conductor perpendicular to the bend line with hatched fills instead of solid planes. Traces crossing a bend at an angle are the most common cause of open circuits in the field, so the design review checks that before the panel is released.
Pure flex is hard to connectorize and hard to reflow. Selective 0.8mm FR4 stiffener plates are bonded only where connectors and SMT pads sit, so the board behaves as a rigid PCB at the interface and as a flex cable in the middle. This is the middle path between a full rigid board and a bare flex tail, and it keeps the assembly on a standard reflow line. Stainless steel stiffeners are available for height-critical enclosures.

Every production lot ships with a bend-cycle coupon result at the specified radius, a copper peel strength figure, and a dimensional report. For hinge applications we can run a customer-specific cycle test at the target radius and travel before shipment, so the number in your design file is backed by a measured value rather than a datasheet assumption.
Prototype quantities from 10 pieces in 3–5 working days; volume production on roll-to-roll lines with 10–15 days lead time. Provide the bend radius, cycle count, and connector locations with your Gerber files, and the first response confirms whether the layout meets IPC-2223 for a dynamic application.
